DONATE TODAY!
Help us reach our goal of $584,500—donate today!
All donation levels and amounts are welcome!

Unfortunately, after 140 years in the extreme weather conditions of Virginia City, this historically and architecturally significant church is showing its age and needs to be restored. Wooden walls exposed to almost a century and a half of sun, snow and wind are dried out, rotting away, and warped. They can no longer support the window sets, which are at risk for failing. The roof beams are warped and unstable. Heat and electrical systems are archaic and might easily set the tinder-dry building aflame again. We must act now, or lose this beautiful and historic building forever.

We will apply for funding but most likely will not receive the full amount to accomplish all of this. You are welcome to donate to any of these projects.

Your donation supports critical building stabilization and safety upgrades. Preserve a piece of Nevada history for future generations.

If you'd rather contribute with a check to the Restoration Project, please make it payable to the Western Missionary Museum, our 501(c)3, and mail it to:
